Yorkville Toronto condo market soars after 6 month lull.
Sold prices for Yorkville resale condos rose dramatically in the 2nd quarter of 2015. The average selling price for a Yorkville condo reached $1,332,752 up 14% from last quarter’s $1,094,327.
Average sold price per square foot was $843 also up from first quarter’s $738.
Interestingly, this second quarter saw longer days on market and more units sold. It took an average of 67 days to sell a Yorkville condo with 95 units selling in this 3 month period as compared to 65 units that sold in the last quarter with an average of 56 days on market.
Yorkville Luxury Condo Sales
The dramatic upswing in sold prices was also reflected in the luxury segment of the Yorkville condo market. In units that sold over $2M, the average sold price per square foot reached $1242 up 30% from last quarter’s $950. The average sold price for a luxury condo in Yorkville is now $3,478,438 with 16 units sold in the second quarter. This time last year the average sold price for a luxury condo was $2,929,545 at a cost of $1207/square foot.
